Façades
Clima provide a suspended façade system with both structural and ‘spider’ fixings in extruded aluminium. All the accessories can be customised to achieve vertical, inclined and overhead point fixing façades. This system emphasises the lightness of the glass. The supporting structures can be only vertical, horizontal, can be replaced with stress structures (steel cables) or with glass mullions. There are no design limits in the application of this system. In this façade type, the glass panes are suspended from the spider fixings by means of special stainless steel articulated fitting inserted directly into the glass. In order to relieve the tensions on the glass
pane, these fittings are provided with ball-and-socket joints
that allow for any glass deformation due to wind load (pressure
or depression). Due to the particular outline of the (housing) bevelled
holes, the fittings are countersunk and perfectly flush with the
glass (in line with normal tolerance values). This ensures that
